Fun fact: This place got its name from a LIFE Magazine contest for newlyweds back in 1939. The contest winners were then invited to stay for free in small, thatched huts for a two-week honeymoon!

Honeymoon Island State Park is situated on Honeymoon Island, which is accessible by car via the Dunedin Causeway. It is located just off the coast of Dunedin, which is near Clearwater in Pinellas County, Florida. There is a booth you will need to stop at to pay admission so be sure you bring cash.
