A quaint park right off I-40 with a 35-acre lake and short, paved hiking trail that runs along a creek and ends at a stunning, large waterfall.
This is a smaller lake right off I-40. It's great if you are new to kayaking and need a place to practice. The hiking trail is paved and very short so it's also a great trail for kids or those who need a very easily accessed hike. It's also the halfway point between Nashville and Knoxville so make it your next pitstop.
Size and Features
Cookeville City Lake covers approximately 50 acres and is a man-made lake created by damming Falling Water River. It is a relatively small lake compared to larger reservoirs in the area. The lake offers a tranquil setting with calm waters surrounded by wooded areas.
